Personal Maps

Personal Maps let you create a focused practice set from metas you have not mastered yet. You can select individual metas from a community map or combine metas from several maps into one GeoGuessr map.

Before you start

You need:

Create a Personal Map

  1. Create a GeoGuessr map.

Open the GeoGuessr Map Maker and create a map. Copy its ID from the end of the Map Maker URL.

  2. Register it with Learnable Meta.

Open the Personal Maps dashboard, select Add personal map, and enter a name and the GeoGuessr map ID.

  3. Choose shared metas.

Browse Learnable Meta maps, enable the Shared filter, and open a source map. Select the metas you want, choose Add to Personal Map, and select your destination map.

  4. Review your selection.

Return to the Personal Maps dashboard and open your map. You can review the selected metas or remove ones you no longer want to practice.

  5. Upload the locations to GeoGuessr.

Select Upload to GeoGuessr from your Personal Map, then click LearnableMeta - Upload in GeoGuessr’s Map Maker. The userscript uploads the selected locations and publishes the map.

The first upload asks for an API token. Follow the prompt to the API token page, generate a token, and paste it into the userscript. The token is stored in your browser’s userscript storage.

Repeat the upload after adding or removing metas so the GeoGuessr map stays in sync.
